Life Everlasting Tea
Hand-foraged in the SC Lowcountry · 10 Tea Bags per Box
Bitter and wise, this tea carries the breath of the ancestors.
Life Everlasting (Gnaphalium obtusifolium), also known as Rabbit Tobacco, is a traditional Southern herb long used for grief tending, respiratory support, and spiritual protection—especially within Black and Gullah Geechee communities. Ours was hand-harvested with care in South Carolina, dried slowly, and sorted into unbleached, single-serve tea bags.
Each tea bag can be steeped up to two or even three times, depending on your taste. It brews a strong, earthy infusion that’s perfect for rituals of rest, remembrance, and grounding.
This box includes:
10 tea bags (yielding 10–30 cups)
A brief ritual-use card with brewing instructions and ancestral context
No additives. No nonsense. Just the plant and the land she grew from.
Shared with you in honor of Margaret Ferrette (1904–1996), who harvested “Light Everlasting” on the way to and from church in the 1970s to soothe her granddaughter’s bronchitis symptoms.
Suggested Use
Steep 1 tea bag in hot water for 7–10 minutes. Drink slowly. Repeat the steep if desired. Excellent with honey, agave, ginger, or lemon.
Updated Sliding Scale Pricing
