    Brittney (Blue) Ferrette Washington (she/they)

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, Co-founder

    Brittney (Blue) Washington is a visual artist and organizer serving as Ferrette House’s Founding Director. Brittney's multidisciplinary approaches to her work apply an understanding that 1) our most important responsibility is dismantling the power arrangements that maintain oppression; 2) everyone has different points of entry into politicization and social justice movements; and 3) art is a powerful portal to healing, imagination, and movement for that purpose.     Priscilla Ferrette (she/her)

    DEPUTY DIRECTOR, Co-Founder

    Priscilla V. Ferrette is an organized and dedicated Administrative Professional with 25 years of experience, a proven track record of supporting executive staff, faculty, students, artists, and peers in collegiate and community environments, and a deep commitment to the South Carolina student and artist community. As Deputy Director, Ms Ferrette manages the operations of the Ferrette House artist residency program, applying lessons from her study in finance, accounting, and business administration.

    LEAD EARTHBENDER & Facilities Director

    June Noble, a Gullah Geechee native of North Charleston, blends problem-solving, environmental education, and grassroots organizing with deep cultural storytelling to  support Ferrette House’s mission to create spaces of healing, cultural preservation, and sustainable living rooted in the land and water of the rural south.
